How does Remote Online work?
You and the instructor connect through the Internet and high quality training is provided!
Computer layouts that work best
It is best to have a Duel monitor or two computers to take the
class. One monitor can be used to view the instructors screen and
the other to practice the exercises. The following are a few
common layouts used:
Common Instructor-Led Online Questions
Instructor-Led Online courses provide an exciting option to explore
computer concepts. Students are able to ask questions via chat or
audio during training and use practice files that provide hands-on
experience. It is an easy, comfortable, convenient method to learn computer concepts.
Things To Know Before Class
Invitation Email - Five days prior to the scheduled class, the
student will receive an invitation email containing:
a. A link will be provided to download the exercises.
Note: The download is also available in the upper right
corner
of the class description at www.elearnlogic.com.
b. A link to print the courseware.
c. The Start Time for 2-hour classes and time zone will be
listed.
8am-3pm Pacific Time
9am-4pm Mountain Time
10am-5pm Central Time
11am-6pm Eastern Time
d. A web link will be provided connecting the student
to the class.
e. A phone number will be provided if there are no
head-sets available.
Register for the class
Register for the class - Sign-up through to the class through the originating training company or university.
Email Confirmation - When you sign-up with a company or University, you will receive a
confirmation email. Individual sign-ups will receive a confirmation from eLearnLogic.
Class Price - Contact your originating training company or university for the class price or you will see the
price when you register for the class.
On the Day and Time of the Class - Click on the link provided in the email
invitation to connect to the online session. The class will be active 15 minutes
prior to the start time of the class. We encourage you NOT to wait until the last
minute in case problems arise.
Instructor’s Screen – As the instructor covers a concept, the
student will see and hear everything the instructor demonstrates
on their own remote computer.
Software Application – Each student must have the application
installed on their computer in order to test out concepts on their own.
If a student does not have the application, an evaluation version is suggested.
Computer Microphone/Headset – This is recommended. However, if you do not have a microphone on your computer, a phone number
will be provided in the invitation email.

Students Can Ask Questions - At any time, the student can ask questions or chat with the instructor during the course if a concept is unclear.
If a Student Needs Help – The instructor can switch screens to view a student’s computer upon their request. For example, if a student is experiencing difficulty completing an exercise, they could request the instructor to view their screen for additional help.
Personal Attention – If personal attention is needed, a time can be set up on break or before/after class to discuss specific questions.
Where Do I Take the Training? - Students can work from their home/office, use a computer lab at the University, or at a facility with a computer lab.
Evaluations – These are emailed to the student after the class. We strongly recommend students take a minute to complete the evaluation as it is a valuable resource to measure the learning experience.
Questions After Class – Students that take Instructor-Led Online classes are also provided with email support for questions that may arise outside the scope of the course. If you register through another training compny or university, be sure to CC all email communication.
Class Cost – Contact your training vendor or university for pricing. If you are signing up throgh eLearnLogic the price will be listed in the registration page.
Billing – In most cases, your training vendor will bill you for the class. Usually, billing occurs after the class has been taken.
Retake Policy – A student can retake an Instructor-Led Online class up to one year. However, there must be another paying student in the class and the course must be the same version.
